A good checklist is hard to come by. At least that’s what I think. I use my checklist every time I pre-flight the plane and think it is vital to safe flying. That being said I was never quite happy with any of the lists I found. The checklist in my school’s Skyhawk was in a binder so it is a pain to carry around. And any checklists you can find online are $40 or more. Being a somewhat frugal flier I decided to make my own. So I took the best list I could find and modified it for me. This only involved shrinking down the size to 5×7 and printing it. Then I ran over to the local office supply store and had it laminated for $5.
